Oh no, my glasses!
Today I went to put on my gold glasses, which are my default ones, and I found a big internal chip at the bottom of one of the lenses. This is a problem; those are the ones I usually wear with my uniform and unless Zenni REALLY beats those Chinese slaves to work fast, I can't get a new pair by the time I leave.
The gold glasses are half-frames, and I've never had anything but plastic full frames. I'd been tossing them onto our porcelain sink before my showers without thinking about it, and the abuse took its toll.
I'm sad because I really didn't want to be buying glasses now, and since I'm going away until almost October I can't justify buying "fun" glasses.
