I talked to my mom this morning. Apparently Grandma went into the hospital with water around her heart and in her lungs. She's been senile and mad as a badger for years, but she's always been happy and funny with a raunchy sense of humour and this time was no exception. Mom said she was being her usual self, but said three rosaries while they were visiting, which was unusual. Then last night she just fell unconscious and went home to the place of flower and song. She had her family with her, it was peaceful and holy, so that's all any of us could have asked for.
