I woke up this morning and the Kaiser greeted me with three of his little cougar screams. He then proceeded to RUN along in front of me to his food dish where he demanded his repast.

Again, I really think this is something he's had for a long time and I also think it's probably going to be at least ameliorated with antibiotics. Steve didn't get any because Dr. Lisa was so into the idea of sending him to the ER which would have been worse IMHO because he would have thought he was being abandoned in a shelter again. Steve says the vet will call today and I'm going to have a talk to see what courses of medicine we can use first to see if they have effect.

He's just such a happy guy!

I think you're right on about how he'd feel if he'd been left at the hospital. Glad to hear he's got so much energy.
