We now have an iCar. Since Steve left a pair of jeans and some of my work shirts in Orange County last week, I thought it might be more economical to go up there and fetch then than to buy more. I also thought it'd be good to hit the swap meet for socks.
We came out with an iPod hookup for the car for $25. Steve later said he felt guilty about buying a Chinese knockoff made no doubt by slave labour. I said that even the legitimate one you could buy at Wal-Mart would be slave-made, but this was money that went into the pocket of an independent family business and was thus a kick in Wal-Mart's balls--at a savings of $75-95 dollars to us. Everybody wins!
Now, if I could only know if my American-made socks weren't produced by slave labour in the Marianas.
