Keeping up with current reading

lady_kishiriaFor my birthday, MAJ T and his girlfriend Lourdes gave me a small Catholic book on experiencing the presence of God and "Fundamentals of the Esoteric Sciences" by Manly P. Hall. This book is a primer on occult/metaphysical science as it existed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, so it ties together Atlantis and the philosophies that allegedly flowed from it. I don't buy the whole Atlantis story, but if you want a brief intro to the ideas behind such movements as Theosophy and the Golden Dawn, this is for you.
I finished "Memories of Ice" in the Malazan series and am taking a break before moving on to "House of Chains". I'm reading a book I picked up by chance at Book-Off on Wiccan ethics. I'm not Wiccan but thought it might be enlightening. More on that later.
