lady_kishiriaThis week I've cooked a chicken fricassee and some chili. helenkacan, the chicken recipe was from the 1982 spiral-bound cookbook "The Gay of Cooking" by The Kitchen Fairy. I figure cooking recipes is Doing Something, and it gives me an activity to look forward to.
Right now I'm sitting with a blood mary using the last of the bottle of bloody mary mix I had in my fridge, and burning a lavender/vanilla candle. Scented candles became a nice habit of mine as of around 2018.
