So the job is okay. It is coding resumes in order to train a system to read them. The only problem is "not-my-departmentism". The guy I was supposed to check in with was an hour later, which was no skin off my nose really because they had a comfy couch and I had a book. The guy who is the one I am working with the most WAS there, but it wasn't HIS department to see who I was and get me started. Then he left at 3. When I ran into a glitch, the guy I checked in with said it wasn't HIS department to know how to resolve it. Real good, fellas.

It took me a while to get the feel for how to do the coding, and by 3:30 I was zipping through a resume. I'm going to go in early tomorrow to talk to the second guy about resolving glitches so I don't get hung up all the time on them.

If I make it till then. I've been queasy for about 4 days now and I know I am not pregnant. Today I feel REALLY sick, but I cannot find the thermometer to take my temperature and I feel too rotten to hunt around for it. I feel very dizzy and light-headed so I am worried.

Steve came home from school at 9:45 pm (normal time) and said, ¨I think you need a chicken taco or something from Filiberto´s.¨

¨Oh no, I barfed this evening, I don´t think my stomach can take any food.¨

¨Well, just have a bite, and if doesn´t make you feel better, I´ll eat it.¨

So he went out and brought me a spicy chicken burrito, just stewed chicken in a flour tortilla. So I ate it and it feels so nice and warm in my tummy.

We think that I´ve been eating too much bread. I´ve already knocked rice and pasta off my list of foods I can eat, so tomorrow´s brekkie will be a quesadilla with salsa verde, lunch will be tuna salad, with snacks of fruit.

But no kidding. Got a bad tummy? Want to lose weight? Go low-carb; it´s the bomb.

Quick word up to Rachael and any other Canadian readers...you can probably find tomatillos in a large Loblaws. If I recall correctly, they have darned near everything. Tomatillos look like little green tomatoes in brown leaves like ground-cherries.
