The Traffic Beast Gets Halloween

Well, I *was* going to dress up and give candy to the kids at the front door, but events were against me. After work I immediately drove to UCSD to return some books to the library, then got on Gennessee to go to the Albertson's to get candy and a few bottles of wine since I thought there was a party Saturday night.

TWO HOURS OF BUMPER-TO-BUMPER TRAFFIC LATER I hauled my carcass into the house to hear that no, the party is TONIGHT at about 10. I was asleep at 8. We did sit on the couch for a bit to watch Law and Order SVU and that was fun, but I was just dead after that. I woke up with bad stomach pains and Steve volunteered to run out and get medicine for me. I hope my ulcer's not coming back.

Laughing at things

There is an LJ community called "Ilovemyhusband". Check it out, it's REVOLTING. Steve and I were laughing at the Stepford girlies on it. I love things that make me feel superior.
