(no subject)

We've had the glass slats of the windows open because it's gotten hot. Today when I got home from work, I came into the house and found a sparrow on the window sill, flapping against the glass, not knowing why it couldn't go through. It took a few tries, but eventually I got the little guy in my hands and released him outside.

It made me feel like I had justified my right to be alive.
