If you buy an American-style comic book, you pay around $2.50 for 25 pages. If you buy a manga, you pay $10 for 200 pages. It's kind of like buying your comics at Costco.

We ended up watching the last 6 episodes of "Hellsing" in one fell swoop last night. I had seen the first two of the six, but was happy to watch them again. What a cool, cool show. Nick hadn't seen the first ones, but we just filled him in. Ryan's comment was, "Is it Alucard himself, his outfit, or the music that follows him everywhere he goes that makes him so cool?"

I've trotted out the manga for Steve. Yes, caprine, I still have the last disc for you to see and me to see again.

Gym, then to writing.

Oh, speaking of writing, I think I have a workable outline for the next chapters of "Quinto Sol". Unfortunately, my editor is taking care of more pressing business in Najaf (like protecting his own Germanic ass) but hopefully he'll be out of that before the next chapter is written.

So Steve is on the cell phone talking to me because he just saw a huge F-150 type pickup truck with Texas plates, a sticker that says "Texas State Judge"....and a rainbow sticker with another that says "Out And Proud".

There's something you don't see every day. Wonder if he's here because he couldn't stand being in Texas for another minute?
