There's got to be something on line that will amuse me.

I *said* I was going to devote today to fanfiction, as I worked this weekend for money. As I struggled with the latest chapter of "Gentlemen of Fortune", my dissertation advisor came on and asked for me to send her a hard copy of the work. So now I'm using MS Word to print out my masterpiece (literally) so I can get it into a padded mailing envelope and into the mail. Crap, I have to BUY a padded mailing envelope. The ones we have in the house are way too big.

So as I print and print and print I am looking for online entertainment and finding none.

I'm watching X-Files on Sci-Fi. It brings back memories of seeing the pilot on tape at Michael T's place in Toronto. There's a friendship that's gone by the wayside, by his own actions, though. I do miss that apartment though; it was my home in a way. I always knew if I went there, he'd have to take me in.

I have a new place in Toronto that's the same way (thanks thepunkpanther, but I still feel kinda wistful. Helenka says she'll connect Michael and myself back up, but it won't be the same.
