So I called to find out where the hell my blood typing results are. I was told by the clinic to call my doctor's office. I did that, and they said they'd mail the results to me "after my doctor signed off on them."

My doctor is off until next Wednesday. Best I can hope for is for her office partner to do it, and he's not in till Monday.

Now, there is no real urgency in getting this done, beyond that I want to avoid one more thing to do at Reception. Yes, it would be convenient to have my temporary ID, although I can use my orders and driver's license to get onto Pendleton.

What pisses me off is that this is MY BLOOD, dammit, and I feel I have a right to know what is in it. Especially in a system where I have to pay my hard earned money for the privelege. If I pay money, I expect service and I expect it now. I'll put up with bullshit if the medical care is free, but if it's not, please do your job. I know that is a hard concept for most San Diegans to grasp, but there it is.
