I forgot to mention, I had my first-ever flu innoculation on Wednesday. It wasn't a shot, it was a syringe of fluid up each nostril. It was cold and felt quite nasty, but I didn't have any ill effects besides feeling unusually run-down until that afternoon. Now let's see if the stupid thing actually does anything, not that I'm given to the flu unless I'm stressed to the max.
Steve is snoozing, I'm prattling. I'm getting the "end of the weekend blues", and needing to remind myself that A. I can stay here until 1900 today because passes were extended until bedcheck at 2100, B. That I'll see Steve tomorrow and most importantly C....As of Tuesday I'll be at 17 days and a wake-up. My brain is utterly convinced that I'm never leaving AIT and not listening to reason.
One of my favourite things in the world is Stouffer's frozen macaroni and cheese. We were at Target today, getting a duffle so Steve could cart home the stuff from my locker that I'm not using, and we passed by the freezer case. It looked as if they were sold out, so Steve climbed to the top and dug out the last box from the back. That was lunch, and I'd forgotten what a comfort food it was.
