Addendum to my tweaked hip hurting me....this was night before last.

At Ft. Lee, I'd been prescribed two medications. One is 800 mg ibuprofen, the other is 800 mg Darvocet. Darvocet is a narcotic; the PA gave it to me because the pain was waking me up.

Night before last I was in pain, as I said, so I took two 800 mg ibuprofen.

Or so I thought.

As I was passing out while watching DVDs with

americanstd, he went into the kitchen and said, "Whoa, they prescribed you DARVACET?"

I looked at the bottle and said, "Oh. So that's why I'm so sleepy."

We saw "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" last night with Ryan, Matt, and Kris. Steve says he still likes the live-action BBC version better, and I do remember it as being very good. No gripes about this one, though.

Steve is preparing to take the bar again. Ryan is threatening to chain him to his desk.

Kris commented, "It takes the lotion and puts it on its skin."

Ryan said, "It gives the (fill in arcane rules of law) or else it gets the hose."

Matt's taking the February bar too, so I'm hoping he and Steve can help each other out. My being away did not help as we'd thought; so maybe me being around to cook and run errands will make a difference.

Tepintzin is a member of the rodent species known as the "Greater Latin American Teppy". She is the only representative of the species found so far. Tepintzin is a small and fierce creature, and being a wild animal can be dangerous when feeling threatened, boxed in, or simply pissed off. Tepintzin is usually seen in human form.
Strengths: A clever creature, Tepintzin adapts quite well to various circumstances, though postponing breakfast is never a good idea. By nature tough and willful, Tepintzin has been known to achieve things no one thought such a being could achieve.
Weaknesses: Tepintzin has been called overly self-analytical, though your mileage may vary. She is given to profound self-doubt despite her achievements during which time she holes up and watches anime.
Special Skills: Multilingual, wordsmith, highly-maneuverable and lithe. Can survive in Da Hood and has for some years now.
Weapons: Tepintzin is equipped with wit, sarcasm, curiosity, and an M-16. Tepintzin is not very good at firing the M-16. She's been known to use a grenade launcher quite efficiently though.
Warning: Tepintzin does not react well to being poked with sticks. Such sticks can be metaphorical and include people who ask her advice and then dismiss it, people who staunchly refuse to grow and change, and her least favourite, out and out liars.
