Holiday Greetings

A very happy Samhain to all of my Celtic pagan friends! I apologize for not knowing if it's a holy day on the Norse calendar.

Work was fine if a little slow; I got to play around a lot with Photoshop. Wearing my PJs made me rather self-conscious, so I ate leftovers for lunch and only left the building to take the mail to the box. I came home, put on street clothes, and started to work on dissertation, but trick-or-treaters put an end to that. Finally I took the candy and "Feast For Crows" outside and handled the trick-or-treaters that way.

Got a neat e-mail from my dissertation advisor Denise Couture today. I knew she'd been away because of the "out of the office" notification I received when I emailed her last week. Turns out she was in D.F. visiting the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe! Guess my work is turning out to be inspirational!
