Day of the Dead

Well, I took photos of the bread of the dead and of the altar before I lit the candles. Not only were there no photos on my card when I put it in my reader, it appears to be corrupt. Even the cute photo of Mei-Mei Steve took this evening is gone. I'm upset because it really was a beautiful altar and of course now it's dismantled.

We dropped off the holding deposit for the cottage today. We take possession on the 15th and will start moving things in then. I don't know what Moving Day will be; I'll let everyone know.

I've been reading websites on living in small spaces. Apparently my idea for Roman colours in the walls would be a bad mistake, so they stay white.

Tomorrow we're going to the range, so I get to sling several magazines of lead at targets. That's always fun.
