Test drive
Nov. 22nd, 2010 08:51 pmNext Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent. This year I'm actually kind of excited about Christmas. I think it's because it's the first Christmas where Steve and I can have it together without outside obligations or the spectre of uncertainty hanging over our heads. So next week we're decorating the office. It's not decided, but I think it would be a good idea to put our artificial tree there and get something smaller for the house. Wal-Mart has these absolutely crazy illuminated fake palm trees:

Steve and I are thinking seriously about getting one for the house.
In the meantime, the living room now has an area rug. I was afraid it might make the room look too small, but it doesn't. It really ties the room together, which means we must take care not to have Hong Kong Danny Ip over, because he'll pee on it.
