Feb. 27th, 2011 05:32 pmI had a GREAT time. It was fairly small and the dealers' room was mostly steampunk, which I'm not awfully into, but I was entertained all through. ebenbrooks's concert. Eben was sick, and the concert had more than a few technical hiccups, but a good time was had anyway.
I also bought Silver Phoenix by Cindy Pon and had a very informative talk with CS Marks, a YA author whose books are almost all through e-book format. After having my teeth kicked in by the publishing industry in the early 90s, the idea of being able to pull faces at it and say "Neener neener neener!" while letting the market decide is a very happy one.
Oh, and I bought little Airborne wings and they are adorning Ivan's collar.
