So, it's St. Patrick's day. I'm Latino, wtf do *I* care?

I might tip a glass on Saturday (St Joseph's Day) because although part of me wants to go the distance for my no-booze-during Lent rule, I kind of feel I might be dissing St. Joe if I don't, and he's been very good to me and Steve.

I'm doing an ugly transcription job actually FOR the temp agency. They ran into some trouble with a corrupted disc and the fact that nobody knows how to use transcription machines anymore, so they called me in. It's tough because the people on the tape are amazingly inarticulate (And I'm, like, whatever to the client who, like...) and they mumble. I've taken a distinct dislike to two of the women on the tape who are clearly just lazy and one of them keeps talking over other people. The agency is paying my desired rate, so hey, I'll deal.

I said to God the other day, I need to help Steve out with the bills, but I can't get a permanent job yet. I'm not stressing though, because You've never let us go under. So far so good; an hour after saying that I had this little gig.

I felt like going to the gym yesterday, but really wanted to see people, so I visited with

seki_raku, which is always nice. I showed off my new LOGH cels, which I really need to photograph so

prushrush can see them.

I wore black and grey. People don't pinch each other in the modern office environment.

Well then there ya go. I have to put up with something even worse than the modern office environment—the modern high school environment.

Yeah, well, that's how I feel when Cinco de Mayo comes around. :)

I'll be having fun tonight, considering how close I am to certain establishments.

I don't mind the modern office environment usually. I minded ProSource, a LOT, but that was because it was so incredibly dysfunctional. Most aren't like that.
