The title is misleading. Yes, the Repugs are trying to keep women out of combat (which we're not officially supposed to be sent into anyway, but if the bad guys start firing, the bad guys start firing) which is in my opinion offensive and ridiculous. Why is my body more precious thanthincat's or Shadow's just because it doesn't have the same reproductive organs? Some would give me the "potential mother" line but sorry Charlie, I'm 40 and that dog won't even BEGIN to hunt with me. But what are they supposed to do, keep women quartermasters from delivering materials to Falluja? Go ahead, make the job harder! Fucking Repugs.
However I call attention to the paragraph stating that the House bill intends to extend health benefits full time to Reservists. This of course interests me very much. I'm trying to find out what Congresscritters I need to contact to encourage this behaviour.
