There's a story behind this one. When thepunkpanther and I were both working at NOW magazine in Toronto (NOW is a free entertainment weekly magazine) we used to go for coffee at a nearby Desserts Etc often. For some reason, we became obsessed with the idea of getting thrown out, so we would start talking about disgusting things in hopes of being told to get the fuck out.

One afternoon, I'd actually heard a story on the CBC about this English couple who drilled holes in their heads and I guess I enjoyed it a lot more than I probably should have. I tried talking about it loudly, but they didn't throw us out.

I'd been thinking about getting some more info on them but it kept slipping my mind until today's spake of freak links.
