(no subject)

I had drill today, which was boring although PT was good. I already feel it in my arms. I also know what exercises I need to be doing daily to build my abdominal six-pack up again. I was proud of that physical detail and want it back.

I tried to send the videos of my defense out by gmail, but they're too big. I need to find out how to compress them. Not sure when this will get done, if ever, because they're on Steve's computer, not mine. If I can figure out how to get them on mine, I'll download iMovie and take care of it that way.

The weather's turned cruddy. It was dark and chilly all day, and I think it's gotten to Mei-Mei too. She was bouncy yesterday and today, after a checkup at the vet, she is quiet and subdued. Global warming, my ass.

Drill tomorrow, medical board seminar next Saturday. It's going to be a long two weeks.

I just found out something interesting that I wanted to share. For each Drill Day you attend you earn retirement points. But if you take a SUTA day instead and miss the Drill Day, even though you are making up the day, you don't earn retirement points. I think this is good to know since I have had to do SUTA days before. Now I will make it more of a point to attend my Drill Days!

I knew that, and that's one of the reasons I never miss drill. I think a SUTA is called an RST in USAR.
