Postponed fun is still fun

I didn't get to Matt's for Wii last night. Today I worked hard and late, so we managed to make it to Hooters for trivia night.

Our table didn't win anything, but I have had smothered chicken, beer, a Long Island Iced Tea and peanut butter pie, so that's just fine with me. Mei-Mei is displeased.

just for a second I didn`t see the comma , so read 'smothered chicken beer' , which left me with a WTF. Then I saw the comma and the offending acronym disappeared promptly. Of course the question remains - what *was* the chicken smothered in?

The only part of that that makes me pine with longing is the Iced Tea. Ooooh, I used to love LIIT.

And, while we're on the subject of alcoholic drinks that have tea appended to their names, Blueberry tea which has nothing to do with blueberries but has, in fact, an Earl Grey tea base.
