SGT M, who endorsed my reality checks, leaves today for the States (Air Force, don't ya know) and Steve's and my big and eagerly anticipated trip to Iceland is cancelled for reasons that should be obvious.

So not feeling happy or shiny this morning, no.

ouch. Some of the photos of the volcanoes are spectacular though...I hadn't realized there was lightning involved.
