From an article on "Conservative Movies":

Starship Troopers (1997). While not entirely family-friendly due to some nudity, this film deals with several important patriotic ideas: the exercise of citizenship should be a right earned through service, not a liberal entitlement;

In the world of Starship Troopers, being born in a country isn't enough; you're a non-citizen until you serve in the military. This idea is repugnant. Adding irony to the batshit, Andrew Schlafly, who allows this praise of the movie, has never served in the military, either.

"Earned right" is one of those insane oxymorons you can only find at political extremes.

Gonna go out on a limb and assume the author missed the fact that the movie was a satire, which is why the philosophies in it are over the top to the point of absurdity.

That'd be way too subtle for a Conservapediatard.

I love that film :D

I think it's hilarious that there is a page of 'Conservative Movies' though. Is there a list of heretical 'liberal' movies too? :D

UUUUGH. I always love it (not) when people tell others what they have to do to be a citizen or whatever, when they aren't willing to do the same thing.

That satire was a really scary movie. But you know what was really scary?

Someone joked about adding Arabian / Middle-Eastern headwear to these gigantic insects during the "War On Terror."

It's like these circus clowns really had nothing better to do.

LOL.. Conservapedia, a place of extreme authoritarianism and deep paranoia. Really, you should see behind the scenes in that place, it is Andy Schlafly and a few of his trusted aidsSysops against the world. Any other editor there is instantly suspected to be a parodist, a "liberal troublemaker", troll, or vandal, and most don't last more then a day or two. That site may as well be called "Andy's Blog". For more details of the hilarity I suggest visiting Rationalwiki.

At least we could tell Jordan and his cronies that they have no right to say anything because they are not citizens.
