I woke up this morning and found that I'm chopped liver.

See, Ivan had been playing all night with his stuffed jingly bird. As soon as we were awake, he ran to his daddy with said bird. Steve was reading work-related things on his phone, so I took the bird and threw it for Ivan. Ivan chased it and brought it back--to Steve. I took the bird and threw it again and again, he took it over to Steve. I got up to get breakfast and Ivan stayed with Steve. He rubbed himself against Steve's legs. It was all about Daddy this morning. I do wonder what goes through their little heads at times.

Nilla gets like that, as well. Most of the time it's her Steve she's interested in...unless I have sourdough bread. She loves it.

Awwww.... when we go see David's cats at his dad's, they go crazy and ignore David's dad and me. I guess cats love their daddies.

I'm more inclined to think it's typical cat behaviour to try to get (command?) the attention of the person who's not paying it any. Or, you know, when you see people who don't like cats and the cats are ALL over them.

We've been through 6 cats here, usually 2 at a time. All the males preferred me, all the females preferred Tom, apparently yours are just the opposite
