If he were like decent white people, he'd eat several hundred pounds of meat annually, but make sure the animals were all raised and slaughtered where he wouldn't have to see them.

The animals sacrificed in Santeria suffer far less than those that are raised for us to eat. Yeesh.

The only thing that would raise eyebrows for me is the stench. If the neighbors could smell odors out of the shed, that would be a legitimate public nuisance. Otherwise, I don't see a problem.

They didn't mention that the neighbours ever complained, only that it stank inside the shed. But hey, it's a foreign and unsettling religion!
