New watering hole on the horizon

Ryan's go-to for "high beer" is Hooters. Steve and I have recently gotten tired of Hooters, though of course we will never forgo it. Thing is, Steve feels awful after eating their food and the beer is domestic lowbrow pee. We stopped over there at Ryan's request with electorprince, who stared disdainfully down that long nose of his and reminded us that he's a beer snob. (Dunno what, if anything, he drank at Jester's outside of Ft. Hood.)

Well, thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster because a TILTED KILT is opening in Mission Valley Mall! The TK has a much more extensive menu than Hooter's, a far better beer menu (and they may have cider, I can't tell), they show the FIFA World Cup games and yes, there's knockers. The waitresses wear this short plaid skirts and white button-downs buttoned under their chests. The look is not so much "debauched Scottish damsel" as "naughty Catholic schoolgirl".

They have steak salads that look good, so I for one welcome our scantily clad overladies.

I didn't go drinking while at Ft Hood, I bought from the Class VI and was a barracks rat. Going out drinking inevitably meant trouble on the horizon, and I was a good boy and wanted none of it. Besides, I gain no pleasure from such establishments as are around Ft Hood, they're all scummy.

Must be because of Killeen. Drive a little bit out from Ft. Benning and there are respectable establishments in Columbus. Same with Ft. Carson, Ft. Gordon, Ft. Lee....
