I guess there really is no good option but to come over here. LJ is 100% Russian now, and with all the political problems in that country, I'd really rather not.

So I'm just going to come over here seamlessly, as part of starting a new year.

Well, I'll miss you. I have a DW account, but have forgotten everything connected with it over the years, so I don't use it, unless it's automagically picking up my entries here and posting them there.

Just wanted to let you know I love the word "automagically"! And to advise you that the system doesn't work in that direction, only the reverse: you can choose to crosspost your DW entries over to LJ.

AFAIK, it wasn't the political content (as it might be primarily with users who live in Ukraine or Russia) but the "decadent" sexual propaganda from the decadent West on LJ.

I will need to look into this DW thing. I would had to lose my years of LJ...
