I've written briefly here before about the former consort of mine less-than-lovingly referred to as Asshole Ex-Boyfriend.

I was looking up a bunch of people from my distant past (not stalking, just nosey) and found that his Facebook is all sappy Bible-based Christianity. He was Methodist, insisted on converting to Catholicism because he thought that would make me want to marry him (!!!???WTF?) and has now apostacized (sp?) and is attending a Bible church.

The bullet missed me by a mile, but I am so glad I missed it.

I bookmark those for my nieces. When they lament that some guy isn't noticing them, I whip them out and say, "See? This is what's going to happen to those guys 10-15 years down the road. You'll look back and realize the huge bullet you dodged."

Count your blessings.... Just one example, the one I actually (briefly) married -- psychotic. Either psychotic or a mystic, or just had epilectic visions (he did have epilepsy, I can attest to that). But that's a shallow portrait ... he was deeply disturbed.
