Fish!

Tonight, Steve and I went up to Vista for the Norwegian Fish Club Odin dinner. I wish bork could have come along; she'd have had such a grand time. It's an offshoot of the Sons Of Norway and involves some cosplaying of the Norse gods. Steve was a little dubious, but ended up having a roaring good time. I brought our horns with us and got to drink out of them. We met some San Diegan heathens, and we'll go to their pubmoots to see if we all click. The food was great; fish chowder, steamed cod, veggies and bread. Steve was really happy to spend some time around his ethnic group, given that we live among mine.

There is a lutefisk dinner. Not so willing to go to THAT.

Oh - and I had lutefisk once. It...didn't taste that hot. but the company was really interesting. And watching other people just savor it was also fun.
