"Diary of a Witch" by Sybil Leek

This book has been riding around with me for at least 20 years, and I finally decided to open it up. What surprised me is that this was a light read; I'd been expecting something other than the chatty memoir I got. I'm not sure I buy Leek's whole, "I was raised as an ancestral Wiccan" because there's too much evidence that such things did not exist. Then again, if you look at it as an affectation of rich eccentrics dating from somewhere in the 18th century, it looks possible. And once again, oh to have been part of the 1950s/1960s metaphysical scene in London.

I think I read that book when I was a child. Had forgotten about it until now.
