1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Bought a condo!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make them. This year, though, I feel optimistic and energetic about getting my body back into the condition it was in around September of 2009. Or better, since I had that bad knee problem.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I don't really have a breeding population in my immediate vicinity. My friends tend to either not have kids or have had their kids already.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My cousin Tom.
5. What countries did you visit?
None, happily. Unless you count Salt Lake City, which is pretty damned alien.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Many more hours at the gym. I would like to lose the gut I've cultivated since coming back from Afghanistan.
7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
