Steve's Surgery

Steve needed surgery to un-deviate his septum, remove bone spurs from inside his sinus cavities and shorten his uvula (the drop-shaped piece of flesh at the back of your throat). I was touched by the amount of support I got through my friends at FaceBook and I've received lots of phone calls asking how he is.

One thing that struck me, as I sat in the waiting room for word that the operation was over, was that I saw how gutted I'd be if, gods forbid, something had happened to him.

Glad that all went well - kinda scarey in that waiting room though

I'm glad things went well. People you care about going under surgery can be highly stressful. ):

How's he feeling today?

I think all my LJ friends and most of my FB friends, which you are both and I count in this as awesome. I've really been so comforted to have all of mine as I've been going through my crap.

I'm glad that people have been there for you, while you've been going through Steve's surgery. I'm glad he is doing better and it must have really sucked to have to go the ER.

Also, I totally understand how you'd feel if god forbid anything happened to him. I really like being married and having David in my life. I never thought I could do it. I'm glad I proved myself wrong.

Lots of prayers and thoughts still heading your way.

The waiting room is one of the single most terrifying places in the world, I think. Waiting for Jack to come out of having brain surgery was the longest day of my life.

Hope Steve is well. :D
