Steve's Surgery

lady_kishiriaSteve needed surgery to un-deviate his septum, remove bone spurs from inside his sinus cavities and shorten his uvula (the drop-shaped piece of flesh at the back of your throat). I was touched by the amount of support I got through my friends at FaceBook and I've received lots of phone calls asking how he is.
One thing that struck me, as I sat in the waiting room for word that the operation was over, was that I saw how gutted I'd be if, gods forbid, something had happened to him.
