As you may have seen elsewhere, I've been in a rotten mood today. In the morning, I got a message from MAJ T saying that he's doing a year of mobilization in Hawaii, so he was having a dinner in Chula Vista. Steve and I have been very opposed to him mobilizing again, because he has a long-suffering girlfriend. So that made me cross.

It was enchilada day at the flag mess, and usually the flag mess's galley is really good. Today the enchiladas were maybe a 3 out of 10. Possibly a 2, with under that meaning food poisoning. I had been looking forward to enchiladas, and they let me down. So that made me cross.

Finally we went out to dinner. We very much wanted to see Todd before he left, and the company of him, his girlfriend and their friends was enjoyable but the Thai restaurant in which they had the dinner was HORRIBLE. The service was slow and disorganized and the food was just bad. Steve's pad thai tasted fishy and salty. When I got my noodle dish, it was swimming in grey black bean sauce and looked like throw-up. I refused to eat it. So that made me cross.

We're home now and I intend to make the most of Caturday, going to yoga and replanting some herbs and watching football.
