I woke up yesterday morning with a headache. It got worse when the planes were in the air, so I thought it might be pressure-related. I got home and the headache continued, even after many ibuprofen and an absolutely wonderful chicken parmesan that Steve made.
I drank several big glasses of water and went to bed. When I woke up, the headache was STILL there, so I resorted to taking the last of my Imitrex. That killed the migraine, but left me shaky most of the day. Still, I managed to do some housework, call the local VA so I can get more Imitrex, and hung out with the cats.
Week after next, I'm off to Phoenix for a week to take the class needed to be the unit's "prevention liaison". What that means is supervising the urinalyses. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it, and it looks great on an NCOER.
It hit 115 here, but it is still better than 97 degrees and humid, that is for damn sure.
