Reading plans for the near future
Aug. 11th, 2014 07:00 pmI really, really want to read Pastrix by Nadia Bolz-Weber. I think the Pima County Library has it, not for Kindle, sadly.
I am currently reading Haunted House: A Novel of Terror by J.A. Konrath. I bought it as part of a Supernatural Horror collection on Amazon. The first book in the collection wasn't horror, but a religious thriller called "Virgin" that I mention on Goodreads. Haunted House is indeed starting out VERY scary, and I'm only in the first chapters.
I've also decided I need more poetry in my life, so I'll start reading "Leaves of Grass" when I get home. I start having bits of poetry in my head, but always when I have no paper nearby, and then it flies away.
One more day in Orange County. I was thinking about going out to dinner tomorrow, but I still have a lot of food here in my suite, so I'll eat that. I will still be bringing a lot home. (I have about a liter of Lactaid left and that stuff is expensive!)
