Today is the first day

lady_kishiriaI hadn't read LJ in about a week, and it looks like this old site is getting some attention and love again. It took me quite a white to get through my friendslist.
Most of my journaling has been on paper. I'm still stuck on traveler's notebooks. Since Bean! brought me a red Tanzo traveler's notebook from Korea, that's my daily carry. I was happy to bequeath my old blue one to our friend Drea when she stayed with us earlier this month. The Tanzo came with some little leather beads that I've attached to the two built-in bookmarks, and I have the Imperial Aquila (symbol of the Imperium from Warhammer 40,000) on the elastic closure as a charm. Steve gave me a packet of black cahier-size notebooks from Moleskine for my birthday, and I picked up a three-pack in different colours in San Diego a few weeks ago, so I'm set for notebooks during my upcoming days of no-job.

Date: 2015-09-30 05:45 am (UTC)I have decided to stick with LJ as my personal diary, and occasionally as a platform to do longer stuff that I share with the Book of Faces, because that platform has always been horrible at long essays - and by long, I mean more than one scrawny paragraph. Anyway, I am doing my best to stick to doing a daily post, even if I have to do it at 0200 the next day and backdate it.
