lady_kishiriaWell, I've spent all my money already, but I have what I want. As I may have said yesterday, I now have all the DVDs of Mobile Suit Gundam. I also have the two-disc OAV of "Crusher Joe" since I LOVE Yaz's work. Last year I got his manga "Joan" and I own the big book of his art.
Today I went to the Adult Swim "Pitching Shows to Adult Swim" panel (it was officially called "They Touched Me And I Died") and realized that Steve and I can DO this. We could come up with a good enough idea for a show for AS. Stay tuned. Alcohol and ranting in the future. We also attended "The History Of Anime In The U.S." which turned out to be, "How we indie companies choose what we're going to bring to the States, which is everything they'll sell the rights to". It was moderately interesting since it also touched on things like copyright law in the US vs Japan and that they are just tapping the market there dry, and turning to Korea as a new source of anime and manga.
The batteries died in my camera and I was cross. I'll buy new ones tomorrow to get those LOTR photos.
