Jul. 28th, 2004 05:57 pmWell, I survived the first of the Last Three Days. Josephina was a bitch to me, but what do you expect. She got on my case for not writing a resignation letter, saying she had told me to but "I didn't hear her." Well, she's a known liar so hey. She left at noon for whatever reason so that was good.
I was feeling kinda bummed anyway on the drive home, but arrived to find a package on the dining room table from Shadow. Steve was so eager to open it that he already had scissors in hand. Inside was a plastic envelope full of the coveted Saddam Hussein money (yes,
prushrush, photos will be taken) a little glass vase with a silly sand painting inside that spelled "Qatar", and a t-shirt that has a picture of a Mesopotamian temple on it that says BABYLON. I absolutely love this t-shirt and will wear it at the earliest possible opportunity.
There were also a lot of photos inside, including photos of lower, upper, and middle-class houses. Looks somewhat below par with Mexico, although it's probably about the same quality as houses in Honduras. And Camp Victory North is very ugly although it was neat seeing a picture of the Humvee he used to drive before he got promoted.
