Lovely party!

lady_kishiriaI had the usual suspects (aka The Fratboys) over, plus caprine, sahari and heyoka. The mix of people worked very well. SteveO did the barbecuing, we watched some anime, and headed over to Caprine's concert at Lestat's. After that we returned to my place for celebratory pie. I was given a couple of bottles of wine and Nick gave me a Char's Counterattack Nu-Gundam playset. I'm debating if I should take it out of the box and put it with my little inaction figures or keep the toys in the box because they're neatly displayed in there.
We finally got the bar that looks into the kitchen cleaned up. Now all we need are the barstools so people can hang out on them as we cook and we can pretend this is Mario Battali's cooking show. I also have to put the last bookshelf together to put out in the main room. I'm almost afraid to do this, though, because I have this feeling that as soon as I do it'll be time to move again. Sahari warned that a house like this tends to need a LOT of work, though, but on the other hand, it might also be what we can afford.
