Look, George, you said the war on terror can't be won. Now you say you actually meant that it's difficult? You must be a real pain in the butt to your handlers, who have to put new words in your mouth every time you stick your foot in it.
What I'm getting depressed about is that this asshole might win. I once bitched that Americans are stupid sheep. I was told by one person who I do respect that I shouldn't bash the American people. Well, I leave it to them to prove me wrong. I left this country 17 years ago because I was disgusted by Americans and the United States, but with exception of the people who I seek out, I really haven't seen anything to convince me to the contrary.
I know some of you are thinking, "America, love it or leave it". However, my One True Spouse has chosen a career where he is best off here, for the time being. I would love, love, LOVE to leave the US, but I don't want to leave him behind, which I would have to. Unless things get really disgustingly fucked-up, enough to convince spouse, which if Bush is re-elected I'm sure they will be.
I propose a new tourist motto for this country in the second term of Bush: "The United States: At Least It's Not Uganda."
