lady_kishiriaSo, spent a great and relaxing weekend at the loft of thepunkpanther, whose old friend from Ottawa electricvelvet was also visiting. I took a walk in Bloor West village with rachaell and spent Sunday with my friend Helenka.
The city looks good. I'm thinking I do have a preference for Montreal with its franco-charm, but Toronto is definitely also livable. It's still clean, still polite and pleasant, but with lots of eccentric quirks.
I'm back in the West Island now withtaxlady and swestrup. I'll be attending the Livejournal Meetup here, so I guess attending a Meetup was inevitable no matter what. Strangely, swestrup has not been able to make the science fiction Meetup happen, but it might be because he was trying to get people to the West Island to attend. For a lot of people There There Be Tygers. Tygers no, buses that run with San Diego-like efficiency yes.
I'll be back in SD tomorrow.
