Oct. 31st, 2004 08:30 amNot a great day...we drove up to OC to see mother in law in the nursing home. She's being difficult. 'Nuff said.
Then we went over to SouthCoast Plaza to wait for Tony who was staffing a Libertarian booth. Steve got tired, so we went home.
I checked my e-mail and got confirmation (I'd already seen it in the newspaper) that Shadow's unit is being extended to February or March.
We went to see Team America. I didn't think it was all that funny. I wasn't offended, which was also a problem, Trey and Matt are SUPPOSED to offend, and they just failed to trigger anything in me. I laughed out loud a few times but it was in no way the pee-your-pants hilarious event I'd been told to expect. Steve found it side-splitting, but I just sat there for the most part thinking, "I don't get it."
Then we got sandwiches at Ruby's and mine was icky.
So we went home, I put on my nightshirt, and hugged Badira while watching "Suspiria" on Independent Film Network and that was better.
