I looked at my Netflix queue and thought, "What a selfish bastard I am. Look at all that anime I'm renting without consideration of what Steve wants to watch---oh right."

Cause the anime on the list is Hellsing and Ruroni Kenshin. Steve, the avowed anti-anime guy, has finally found what he likes. I was watching RK (the OAV) and he said, "Hey don't send that back when you're done. I want to watch that." Afterwards, he called Ryan and Ryan came over to watch it too. He was already an anime fan, and Escaflowne is on the queue at his request.

Then I was watching the first DVD of Hellsing and Steve gave the same response.

I'm very glad for this. All these years after the Pandora's box of my anime addiction was opened, it's been something I like to watch as Steve rolls his eyes and says, "Fap fap fap." Finally I'm finding stuff that he likes to watch too.

So, tomorrow is my birthday and I have no clue what to do. My past two haven't been very good, but since life has slowly but surely been on the improve, I am not despairing about tomorrow. It's just kind of weird that I have no idea what to do with myself.
