Steve has been trying since Thursday at least to get a good night's sleep. Saturday he drove me to work, yesterday I woke him up by crooning to the Kaiser, who was lying on the bed looking cute and as if he deserved a little song. After Steve bitched at me he tried to go back to sleep but got conquered in the name of the Reich and then he had to use the bathroom anyway.

Finally, there is this one guy who has been calling consistently at about 3 a.m. asking for "Gupta". He cannot grasp that Gupta is not here, has never been here, probably will never be here. I think I heard Steve calling the phone company last night to block out the number.

And so poor Steve has to go to work on a broken night's sleep so of course the weather is responding with a marine layer. So I'd best go make Steve some brekkie.

Ganked from [profile] sporkgoddess, it's Family Guy Bingo!

The Gang was over to watch TV as they usually do on Sunday nights. Steve commented that he can't even look at Family Guy the same way anymore after South Park skewered it in "Cartoon Wars".

Having scored work for tomorrow (back to the Hard Rock, yey; am backing up myself with Flonase and Claritin) and put in for a fulltime job at Office Team's suggestion, I am now watching "King Arthur". I am not even going to try to list the historical wrongness. Let's just mention that this is 452 or so and Rome is the greatest city on Earth and capitol of the Empire. Yeah right. *cough* Constantinople *cough*

Later edit: Screw it. The thing is unwatchable. Time to go out into the sun and read instead.

Job interview is tomorrow at 10. I'm concerned by the fact that there is apparently no transit nearby, so IF I get the job, I need to get a car right quick. I'm feeling panicky at the idea of going even a week with only one car between two working adults, but Steve says not to worry, so I won't.

Well, yeah I will, but I'll grit my teeth and try to keep it as buried as I can.

I'm not telling them about my being a Reservist, and that's on the advisement of my employment agency. Even if they fire me for needing to go to WLC in June, at least I'll have gotten a month of work from them. Even though Office Team consulted lawyers and said it was okay not to disclose, I still feel bad and rather guilty about it.
