I will now proceed to be amused by Democrat-phobes who wish a Republican were in the White House. We seem to have one there after all. The only upside is that VPOTUS isn't a terrifying Fundamentalist hayseed.

And I am officially NEVER voting again. NEVER. There is no point in doing it in this country.

Starting this week....

I'm giving up booze for Lent. I did this in 2005. It wasn't *that* bad that year, although as we went into Holy Week the anticipation built up, and I remember being at lunch, watching a woman drink a glass of chardonnay and I was salivating.

There is one circumstance under which I will resume wine consumption, but we'll see if it occurs.
