Moon landing

I haven't done much in commemoration, but the big conversation around the office has been moon landing conspiracy theorists. 1LT A believes in the first moon landing like a sane person, but has an obsession with proving the anti-moon landing types wrong.

SPC M, being 19 and from San Luis Obispo, believes the conspiracy theories and apparently he and 1LT A got into it, with LT H backing up A. Me, I just think we need to enclose SPC M in a barrel for a few years with my choice of reading materials.

1LT A's wife plays harp (Triplett Celtic 34) and they used to have a band in the early 2000's. He is also way more into Star Trek than he wants to admit.

Star Wars comes more easily to mind when you're living on Tatooine, the way we are at the moment.

Holy cards from cinchntouch arrived. Yay! I am not putting Josemaria Escriva on my wall under any circumstances though.

I've ordered my van Gogh prints; can't wait for them to arrive. I'm not sure which I'm more eager for, them or my Irish tin whistle. I hadn't realized that there's a whistle accompaniment to "Gently Johnny" in the soundtrack of "The Wicker Man".
