Okay, so you know those Hostess Fruit Pies? I love those things, but because they contain tallow or lard, I can't eat them. The only comparable pies out there that are vegetarian/Kosher are Drake's and I've only seen them in the northeast, like in upstate New York.

Well, yesterday I found out that Little Debbie makes them veggie too, though without the Kosher rating. Yay.

Reminds me of being an undergrad...we'd be up late (as per normal), and we'd run to HyVee in the middle of the night (or early morning, take your pick), load up on those fruit pies and Mountain Dew. And then was completely hopped up on sugar and caffeine.

There was also a Hostess outlet we'd road trip to and stock up at.
